The Details
Medstrat is a world leader in the orthopedic Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and the Digital Templating (DTX) markets. We have created a sales force focused DTX subscription service intended to give you the capability to digitally template cases provided that you:
a) obtain the X-ray images from the hospital / orthopedic practice on a CD, or
b) have the hospital / orthopedic practice upload them to your mailbox on Medstrat’s secured, and HIPPA compliant, server to be later accessed through echoes on your PC or Mac.
Your subscription includes your very own mailbox, which will hold uploaded X-ray images for you to template utilizing echoes:
Subscription Rates
Recognizing that there will be varied levels of need for this service, the following usage rates apply per sales representatives:
$125.00 / month, up to 15 cases
$192.50 / month for 16-30 cases
$252.50 / month for 31-50 cases
$270.00 /month, unlimited cases
Full Territory Option:
$2,500 / month, unlimited cases
All subscription levels will require a one-time $150 set-up fee. The subscription includes 7am-7pm CST Mon-Fri live support, 24 hour mailbox accessibility (ask us for your personal AE title, IP address, and port number for uploads), updates to template packages, and automatic updates of the software.
FAQs
Q: Can I allow my surgeon to use this software and service?
A: This service is solely for the use of Sales Representatives. As with traditional acetate templates, this give you the capability to template digital X-rays and service your customer appropriately. Regular licenses for hospital/surgeon use are very costly. Thus, allowing access to the system provides your surgeon with something free-of-charge in return for their business. Doing this is a direct violation of HCC regulations.
Q: Why do I have to pay a monthly subscription?
A: Licenses and yearly upgrades for Digital Templating software are costly. Charges can exceed $15,000 per year. Through a special arrangement with Medstrat, this subscription service was created to serve the needs of orthopedic Sales Representatives. The monthly subscription fees, which include the full software application, server maintenance, personal mailbox, customer support, template package updates, the echoes To Go feature, and automatic software updates, only represents a fraction of the total cost that a regular surgeon/hospital customer would incur. The monthly subscription can be cancelled at any time; however, the initial set-up fee is non-refundable.
Q: Who, within my orthopedic manufacturer's corporate office, is managing this service?
A: Medstrat is solely responsible for the administration of this DTX service. Sign-up, installation, customer support and fees will be managed by Medstrat. All inquiries should be directed to Medstrat’s Customer Support Service.
