You must meet the Minimum System Requirements before proceeding.
Microsoft Windows
Click on the Windows download on the Customer Area page and then click the Run button to execute the installer. Click Agree to the End User License Agreement and then click the Install button. A short-cut for the Browser will automatically be created on your Desktop.
In addition, a file association will be created between the file extension "dcm" and the Browser so that if you click on a file ending in ".dcm" in Windows Explorer, the Viewer will open that DICOM file.
Apple Macintosh
Click on the MacPACS download on the Customer Area page and follow the installation instructions when the installer begins to run, including clicking Agree to the End User License Agreement and then clicking Continue for all other items. Finally, when MacPACS begins running for the first time, either drag the MacPACS icon to an internal position within the Dock or right-click the MacPACS icon in the Dock and select "Keep in Dock".
A file association will be created between the file extension "dcm" and MacPACS so that if you click on a file ending in ".dcm" in the Finder, the MacPACS Viewer will open that DICOM file.
